Beyond the Breath August 30, 2008

Mike Shirley initially started the project after the collapse of "Aesthetic" in early 2007. After a few songs had been written, Joel Nelson (former guitarist of Aesthetic/monarkill) entered the project. The search for a drummer was short-lived, as Jere Amos (former drummer of Aesthetic/Hoax) soon joined. And so the hunt for a bassist was on. This ultimately led to Kyle Gagnon (former guitarist of Bloodlust). And so the line up was complete. This was no longer a project, it was now a band.
