Medical imaging technologies have come a long way since the discovery of the X-ray in 1895. This exhibit, which is easy to spot with its distinctive rib-cage canopy, offers lessons on some of the many non-invasive ways doctors look into the human body.

Anything in the NW is fine with me since that's where I'll be coming from anyways!
Looking forward to meeting everyone.
Andy
I with you guys, NW is good.
How far away from "the NW" is downtown? Sorry... I'm a hick from Vancouver.
Tod,
Depending on traffic, it should take you anywhere between 10 to 20 minutes to drive there from downtown.

Googling for Weeds Cafe finds live shows. The presence of entertainment would make conversation impossible. The geographic location looks ok, though.
They do sometimes have live shows there but (according to the local weekly, FFWD) there isn't a show currently listed at Weeds for the 11th.
If a venue closer to downtown is of interest, Tod, then you could check out the Higher Ground on Kensington Road NW.
Okay, sorry to make an arbitrary decision, but here goes: It'll be in the Elements Bar in of the Delta Hotel, downtown. They've got eats, beer, and tables. :)
Sounds good Tod - see you there! Both Matt and I should be there.

Brad Gibson (The Bradcast at bradfordgibson.net) will be there. I may be bringing a guest.

Great the Delta works fine. I hope you are all still around after 8:30, I'm getting back from a flight and will head straight there.
I'll be there.

Possible venue: Weeds Cafe in the NW (thanks CP). What do people think of that venue?
