208 S Great Rd
Lincoln, Massachusetts 01773

This is a great opportunity to explore an area few Massachusetts' birders travel to. We'll start with the expansive Great Bay that encompasses 5,000 acres of tidal water; birding the top two locations - Sandy Point on the south end and Adam's Point at the mouth of the bay. We will view large numbers of geese and ducks, plus some early Bald Eagles, and a variety of passerines. We will bird the coast, from the mouth of the Piscataqua River in New Castle to Odiorne Point State Park, known for its hawk migration and one of the top birding areas for migrating passerines. We'll follow the coastline down to Salisbury stopping at many vantage points to look for sea ducks, snow buntings, larks, and shorebirds. If time permits, we will bird the Salisbury Beach area. - - Open to anyone age 16 or older. Registration is required. Call 781-259-2200 for details.
