Ever since Mt. Auburn was established in 1831 it has been a 'migrant magnet'. Today it is one of the 79 Important Bird Areas in Massachusetts. Every spring wood warblers stop in this oasis on their migration north. We'll have the opportunity to look for Ovenbird, Northern Waterthrush, Blackpoll, Nashville, Magnolia, Northern Parula, and Bay-breasted warblers, as well as many other spring migrants during our trip. - - Directions will be sent upon registration.
