In her debut novel OUT OF IT, British Palestinian writer Selma Dabbagh examines her people¹s tragic past and conflicted present through the prism of one family¹s experiences. Depicting modern-day Palestine through the lives of the Mujahed siblings—twenty-seven year old twins Rashid and Iman, and older brother Sabri—Dabbagh creates a textured portrait of what it’s like to inherit a conflict.
