Boomers and Beyond April 7, 2011

The "Boomers and Beyond" program is offered the first Thursday of every month. As always, we will start with socializing, coffee, and treats, and then we'll head out on the trails if favorable conditions exist to engage in nature's instructive process. In March, the Center's secondary education manager Jim Hyatt will teach us how to find hidden caches on the Center grounds through the art of geocaching. April's class will discover the bizarre life forms that lurk in the watery worlds of our ponds and lakes. The striking differences between these and the ones we see in our everyday life will dramatically illustrate the adaptations that are necessary for underwater life.
