On Tuesday, June 16th, the Brandywine Valley Writers Group will hold their regular monthly program meeting. It will feature a panel discussion titled “Manuscripts – The First Step to Getting Published.” This meeting will be held at 7 pm, upstairs at the Four Dogs Tavern in historic Marshallton, PA. Note that the Four Dogs Tavern is NOT handicap accessible.

Our scheduled panelists are:

• Liz Corcoran, Director of Creative Writing and English Literature, Rosemont College

• Carolyn Sorisio, English Department, West Chester University

• Harriet Levin Millan, Writing Program Director, Drexel University
(and on the editorial board for poetry at Philadelphia Stories)

• Christine Weiser, Publisher, Managing Editor, Philadelphia Stories

Some of the questions we hope to answer are:

What qualities grab your attention? What distinguishes publishable from not publishable? How do you recognize good writing?

If you want to get published, this is an event you must attend!
