The Sudbury River Valley provides marshes, meadows and woodlands that entice a wide variety of birds to set up housekeeping. At Heard's Farm in Wayland, we may encounter breeding specialties such as Virginia Rail, Willow Flycatcher, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Wood Thrush, Eastern Bluebird, Red-tailed Hawk, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Savannah Sparrow, Baltimore and possibly Orchard Oriole, Bobolink, various Swallows and other surprises. - - Open to anyone age 16 or older.
