About The Buffalo River Artisans Blooming Art Festival

The Buffalo River Artisans Blooming Art Festival is a grass-roots effort, initiated by an eclectic group of individuals and business owners, intended to stimulate local tourism while also providing retail opportunity for regional artists and small business.
The Buffalo River Artisans Blooming Festival is the first of a series of events and strategies aimed at "art-based" economic development in the region. An intended by-product of the event is to cultivate a group of artists, businesses and individuals interested in contributing to this vision.
The March 21 event will be marketed throughout Tennessee and the southeast through a variety of print media and internet strategies. "Shoulder" events will take place throughout the weekend. An event website, complete with a down-loadable driving map containing cultural, natural, and historic sites of interest will also be made available to the public.
