Build a D-I-Y Website in 3 Sessions May 27, 2008

If you've been putting off setting up a website because it's too complicated or costly, here's your chance to have it up and running in just 3 sessions!


In this 3-part workshop you will learn how to construct a site and then come up with the killer content that goes in it. At our first class Mark Stringham from Register.com will give step-by-step instructions on how to use their software so that you'll have your websites set up that same evening. The next two sessions will deal with creating keyword-rich pages so that the search engines can send lots of traffic your way. Unsure about what colors, fonts and images to use? Bring your questions and you'll receive valuable input, feedback and suggestions for the content and look & feel of your site.


FORMAT

Class 1 - 5/27/08 - Tutorial on how to set up your website using Register.com's software

Class 2 - 6/10/08 - Create content for pages: Home, About Us, Bio, Press
Class 3 - 6/24/08 - Create more content for pages: Product/Services, Site Map, Add-ins, Other


Very important! After each class there will be homework assignments that you'll need to complete before the next session.


When: Tuesdays, 5/27, 6/10 & 6/24 from 6:30 to 9pm


Meeting fee: $25 per class, or $60 for the 3 sessions (a $15 savings)
