A FUNDRAISER FOR A PARALYZED 22-YEAR-OLD LOCAL BALTIMORE MAN TO BE HELD SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 2009, AT MARTIN’S WEST TO RAISE FUNDS FOR HIS REHABILITATION COSTS AND UNPAID MEDICAL EXPENSES. Shawn Hardester is a quadriplegic —and has been left with over $75,000 worth of unpaid medical expenses. Shawn lost his mother to cancer in September. He and his father are struggling to pay for tens of thousands of dollars in uninsured but critically needed physical rehabilitation.
