Investigate the busy lives of honeybees. We'll visit Drumlin Farm's own beehives, see combs of honey, taste a sweet snack, share bee and honey stories, and find out more about these fascinating insects and how and why they help plants and farmers. Join us for a humdinger of a time! - - Up to three children per adult; all ages welcome. Fees apply to all participants, both adults and children. "Backpack babies" (under 12 months and carried in a backpack or sling) are welcome free of charge, though please mention these participants on the registration form. The fee for children between the ages of 12 and 17 months is half the regular participant fee. - - Things You Should Know: - - -Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary is a dynamic environment. Occasionally we may make programmatic changes to take advantage of new opportunities or to maintain the safety of all animals and visitors. - - -Children should be the age indicated by the start of each program. - - -Programs include time indoors as well as outdoors; please come dressed comfortably for our outdoor adventures! - - -In programs where there is a farm to food connection, snacks from the farm may be incorporated. - - - If severe weather occurs please call our cancellation line by dialing 781-259-2200 (press 2, then 3).
