Explore the science and magic of bird flight and migration. How can a turkey get that bulky body into the air? How do hawks migrate for thousands of miles? And how does soaring work? We will look at feathers up close, and meet a long distance flyer. Occasionally we may make programmatic changes to take advantage of new opportunities or to maintain the safety of visitors and the animals we care for. - - Children should be the age indicated by the start of each program. - - On the first day of each class, please check in at the Admissions Window (except where noted), to find out where your class will meet. - - Programs include some time indoors as well as outdoors, and classes will run rain or shine; please come dressed comfortably for our outdoor adventures!
