The Two of Us Productions presents the musical Cabaret. Cabaret is the 1966 Broadway musical by Kander and Ebb that was later the basis for the 1972 movie. It tells the story of a young couple Sally Bowles and Cliff Bradshaw who meet in Berlin in the early 1930’s as the National Socialist Party is coming into power. At the same time an older couple struggle to find love amidst the bigotry, intolerance, religious prejudice, and social upheaval of the time. The Master Of Ceremonies at the Kit Kat Klub, where Sally performs, provides social commentary throughout with his musical numbers.
The topic and performance may not be appropriate for younger children.
