Canoeing November 13, 2010

Join the park's naturalist for an unforgettable journey on the only natural lake in Texas. Seize this opportunity to explore the Saw Mill Pond and the Big Cypress Bayou while viewing birds, fish, and other creatures that are home in the wetlands of east Texas. This 1 1/2 hour guided trip will begin and will end at the park. Participants may bring their own canoes/kayaks or rent from the canoe rental office. Bring appropriate clothing for the season, drinking water, and insect repellant. Weather permitting we will meet at the canoe rental office to begin our adventure.
