Aruande Capoeira is here in Laredo!!! What is Capoeira? Capoeira is a unique art that combines martial arts, acrobatics and dance-like movements to the beat of traditional Brazilian instruments. It's a great work out, Great way to defend yourself and most of all, a lot of fun. Classes are held twice a week at the K. Tarver Recreation Center on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8 - 9:30 p.m. K. Tarver Recration Center is located on 2902 Tilden Ave.

My name is Professor Ovid Rodriguez. I have been Sensei's Carlos Karate instructor ever since he was 6 years old. I am very proud to see Carlos in this art. He has always been a a very strong and fearless fighter. But most of all a GREAT student. I was always proud of Carlos when he competed and always represented the school with great honor. Anyone taking Capoeira from Sensei Carlos will have a great instructor in front of them. I'm very proud of you Carlos. HIT FAST....HIT HARD
