Carkeek STARS Outdoor Work Parties June 19, 2010

Looking for exercise, camaraderie, and a fun way to help the community? Joins us at Carkeek Park and become one of our "STARS" (Stream, Trails and Reforestation Stewards). Help keep invasive plants at bay. Create safe, user-friendly trails. Replenish our native forests. Protect our streams from erosion and run-off. We have outdoor work parties year around. On the third Saturday of the month we will have STARS work parties 9 a.m.-Noon. Please call 206-362-2980 for additional information or groups of 5 or more. From the entrance, follow the "STARS" work party signs.
