Pulitzer Prize-winning author Carl Bernstein will kick-off The New Jewish Book Festival: Four Seasons of Literary Excellence on Saturday, November 17 at 8:00 p.m at the Herbert Gillman Theater at the Mandell Jewish Community Center, 335 Bloomfield Avenue in West Hartford.
Carl Bernstein is best known for breaking the Watergate story for The Washington Post in the early 1970’s with Bob Woodward and setting the standard for modern investigative reporting. It was their investigations into the scandal that brought down the presidency of Richard Nixon. Mr. Bernstein’s latest book, A Woman in Charge: The Life of Hillary Rodham Clinton, provides an insider’s look at the presidential candidate and one of the most interesting women of our time.
