CarolFest Golf Tournament & Fundraising Dinner August 27, 2011

CarolFest is a celebration of Carol Williams, a loving wife, mother and upstanding member of the Roanoke community. Carol has worked for Festival in the Park (now EventZone) for over 20 years and has served as the primary face behind the scenes of Downtown Roanoke’s events for two decades. Last November, Carol suffered a severe stroke which has left her with paralysis on her right side and unable to speak. The CarolFest Golf Tournament & Fundraising Dinner will be a major fundraiser to help the Williams family with overwhelming medical expenses. The CarolFest Golf Tournament & Dinner will take place on Saturday, August 27th at Roanoke Country Club. The day will begin at 12pm with Lunch for all golfers, followed by a 1pm shotgun start which will begin the Captain’s Choice format tournament. Dinner will begin at 5:30pm and will feature a barbeque buffet, live music and dancing, a cash bar, and silent auction.
