Carson-Newman A Cappella Choir March 15, 2009

The A Cappella Choir from Caron-Newman College in Jefferson City, TN will be performing at First Baptist Church of Asheville on March 15, 2009 at 7:00 pm in the sanctuary.

The Carson-Newman College A Cappella Choir is the select touring choir of the college. Members of the 47-voice A Cappella choir are chosen by competitive auditions from the entire student body and include students from seven different states. Music for this concert will include pieces written by Bach, Victoria, Berry, Martin, Christiansen, Wagner and others. The A Cappella Choir is conducted by Dr. Eric Thorson who is a Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities at Carson-Newman College.
