Chew, chew, chew, what do caterpillars chew? Join us as we share Eric Carle's book, "The Very Hungry Caterpillar," and then explore the fields and gardens in search of caterpillars and chrysalises...and perhaps we will catch a glimpse of what caterpillars look like when they grow up! - - All ages welcome. For one or more adults along with 1-3 children per adult. Fees apply to all participants, both adults and children. "Backpack babies" (under 12 months old and carried in a backpack or sling) are welcome free of charge, though please mention these participants when registering. The fee for children between the ages of 12 and 23 months is half the regular fee. Mass Audubon family memberships must be current to receive member rate; please consider joining when you register. - - Things You Should Know: - - Drumlin Farm Wildlife Sanctuary is a dynamic environment. Occasionally we may make programmatic changes to take advantage of new opportunities or to maintain the safety of all animals and visitors. - - If you are registering twins for an adult/child pair program, the fee for the second twin is half the non-member fee listed for the program. - - Children should be the age indicated by the start of each program. - - On the first day of each program, please check in at the Admissions Window, except where noted. - - Programs include time outside and will run rain or shine; please come dressed comfortably for the weather. - - In programs in which there is a food to farm connection, snacks from the farm may be incorporated into the program.
