CCCKC Presents: 555 timers December 15, 2008

On Tuesday, December 16th, the Cowtown Computer Congress (CCCKC) will be giving a FREE tutorial on the 555 timer. Covering the basic modes of operation, Astable and Monostable Operation

The CCCKC will have a surplus of 555 timers, capacitors, and resistors. If you plan on attending, bring in:

* 9 volt battery (with appropriate connections to dump into breadboard)
* Probably not a bad idea to bring in the 555 and some resistors and caps
* breadboard and jumpers
* Some wire
* Wire strippers
* Multimeter (if you want to read your voltages to see how the 555 affects them)
