Celebrating Aging is the fifth annual AgeOptions fundraising reception and auction. The event honors and celebrates the life experiences of the 130,000 older adults AgeOptions serves annually as the Area Agency on Aging of suburban Cook County.
The evening is dedicated to raising awareness and support for the growing and diverse aging population of suburban Cook County. It features Merri Dee, a long-time champion of charitable work and one of the first African-American women to anchor broadcast news in the state.
There will be a silent auction, entertainment and hors d'oeuvres.
