Celebrity Chef Paola Petrella at Johnson & Wales March 26, 2010

Johnson & Wales University will honor Chef Paola Petrella, acclaimed private chef to Hollywood’s elite such as America Ferrera and Will Smith, as a Distinguished Visiting Chef on Friday, March 26th at 7 p.m. in a public dinner held at the JWU North Miami Campus.

After a pre-dinner reception with a selection of gourmet hors d’ouevres, guests will be treated to an indulgent four-course meal. The mouthwatering menu includes Braised Boneless Short Ribs with Colombian-style Roasted Plantains and Key Lime Mojito Sorbet with a Ginger Almond Crisp. The sumptuous dinner, prepared by Petrella and JWU students, will also feature perfectly paired wines.

The event, which is a scholarship fundraiser for the University’s College of Culinary Arts, is open to the public at $85 per person. RSVP required to 305-913-2108.
