Central District Boxing Revival October 6, 2012

BRINGING BOXING BACK TO THE CENTRAL DISTRICT!

Cappy’s Boxing Club is hosting the 3rd Annual Central District Boxing Revival at the Garfield Community Center on Saturday, October 6, 2012. The event is sponsored by central area businesses keeping the cost a low $5 per adult and free for kids 5 and under.

This is a USA Boxing sanctioned event that will feature bouts with boxers from all over the Northwest region. There will be a special guest appearance by The Total Experience Gospel Choir and music throughout the event by DJ Joy, food by Jemil’s Big Easy food truck, and an art exhibition by the Cappy’s Boxing Club.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Cappy’s Boxing Club. Since its inception in 1998, this non-profit club has provided local amateur boxers with the opportunity to train for Olympic level competition and develop the skills and confidence to face their fears in and out of the ring.
