Thomas Nozkowski
B.F.A., Cooper Union, 1967
Nozkowski’s paintings have been in over 300 museum & gallery exhibitions worldwide, including 65 solo shows. Nozkowski has been described as a “post-minimal formalist,” by LA Weekly and as “the Chardin of contemporary abstraction,” by The New Yorker. His painting & composition involve the interplay of biomorphic & geometric forms, which heave & rock against each other.
