Curated by The Jes Powers Project, Chanteuse is a bi-monthly music series in its second year that brings together local and regional female vocalists with the aim to showcase original music as well as to provide a platform in which musicians and vocalists are given the opportunity to collaborate together and broaden their fan base. This is a music series produced by music-lovers for music-lovers. Now in its second season, Chanteuse, has brought together more than 30 female vocalists and nearly as many additional accompanying musicians, all from a wide range of genres and styles and drawing from local and regional musicians, including musicians from New York City (iL Abanico, Rachel Sage) and even as far away as China (Ember Swift).
