Shooting4Change Films Premiere with Special Guests Sacrificial Poets, Girls Rock NC, and Opinionated Films!

A celebration of youth empowerment though creativity. The students in Shooting4Change chose to document subjects meaningful in their lives and community including, teen motherhood, parental drug abuse, sibling love and a unique church in Siler City. When asked why they wanted to learn documentary filmmaking a member of Shooting4Change said, "It could help some teen or kid out there in the world. I've been through a lot... and there is a lot of other kids out there that's been through the same kinds of things."

Also participating in the event are the Sacrificial Poets, North Carolina’s only youth performance poetry team (http://sacrificialpoets.com), as well as Girls Rock NC and Opinionated Films.

A cash bar and concessions will be available.
