An afternoon and evening of live music, food, fun and beer!

The first annual “Chiang Banger” brings together 10 local bands performing in a free, all-day outdoor concert. Open to all ages, the bands will perform rain or shine from 2 PM to 10 PM. on Sunday July 20th when Chiang Mai Thai transforms Calhoun Square’s Girard Avenue alley into a festive gathering site. Mixing a little Thai with traditional summer concert fare, there will be fresh spring rolls, satays, hamburgers and hot dogs available for purchase. The event includes a beer garden featuring Summit products.

Chiang Mai Thai, located in Calhoun Square in the heart of Uptown, has been voted Best Thai Restaurant 4 years in a row by City Pages. Known for ambience and great authentic Thai food, Chiang Mai Thai may soon become equally memorable for it’s multi-talented staff who produced and coordinated all details of the first annual Chiang Banger. Look for several Chiang Mai employees performing in some of the bands throughout the day.
