Feathers are as unique as the bird. We'll look at feathers and feet and why they are important to a bird's survival. - - The Chickadee Birders Club at Drumlin Farm is for children ages 7-11 who have an interest in birds and want to learn more. We will introduce the basics of birding, bird life, and seasonal migration through talks, activities, and field trips. Birding is a lifelong skill that can lead to greater overall interest in the outdoors and the environment; it's never too early to get started learning the birding basics. Children are welcome to come to the club meetings alone, or to bring one adult with them.
