Chickadee Birders Club: Superbowl of Birding January 29, 2011

The Superbowl of Birding is a unique competition to find the greatest number of species and to earn the greatest number of points based on the rarity of the birds recorded. - - The Chickadee Birders Club at Drumlin Farm is for children ages 7-11 who have an interest in birds and want to learn more. We will introduce the basics of birding, bird life, and seasonal migration through talks, activities, and field trips. Birding is a lifelong skill that can lead to greater overall interest in the outdoors and the environment; it's never too early to get started learning the birding basics. Children are welcome to come to the club meetings alone, or to bring one adult with them.
