Chilean Rain Stick Making April 12, 2007

Rain sticks are traditionally made from dried cactuses. These sticks originated in Chile and were used to serenade the gods to bring rain to the earth. Here cardboard tubes, collage, stencils, paints, magazines and beans will be used to make own rain sticks.
