Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - Sooner Chapter
Spectacular golf outings, Las Vegas Get Away, fine wines and fine dining will be among the items going home with guests of Chip in for a Cure, casino party.
It is expected to draw over 400 guests who will enjoy complimentary wine, Budweiser beer, margaritas and specialty dishes from ten of Tulsa’s most popular and newest restaurants, Live Casino tables and a no limit Texas Hold Em Tournament will make the guests feel like they are all high rollers. Guests will also be bidding on exclusive live and silent auction items.
Restaurants serving will include Elements Steakhouse, White Owl, Oscar's GastroPub, Mahagony's Prime Steakhouse, Sonoma Bistro &Wine Bar, The Laughing Wench, Ciao, KEO, TiAmo Ristorante, Wing Run, and Leon’s on the Restless Ribbon.
Kristy DeBoer, Assignment Editor for KJRH Channel 2 and 2009 CF Junior Board President is the 2009 Chip in for a Cure, Event chair. Brad White, Sales Manager at Jaguar Tulsa is the 2009 Poker Tournament Chair, and President Elect for the Junior Cystic Fibrosis board. Abigail Thomas is the Live and Silent Auction Chair as well as the Event Chair for CF’s Tulsa Top 20 leaders, April 2010.

Auctioneer Jay Litchfield will be leading the bidding in the live auction for packages such as a refurbished a golf package to Phoenix/Scottsdale, golf foursome packages including Tulsa Country Club, Golf Club of Oklahoma, Meadowbrook Country Club, Cedar Ridge Country Club and more; BOK concert tickets (premier seating) and other getaways to surrounding casinos in Mississippi and Louisiana.
Included in some of the silent auction items are: Cherokee Casino Stay & Play package, Tulsa Oilers Hockey Tickets at the BOK center, autographed basketball and sportswear, gift certificates to local restaurants, car detailing, wine baskets, jewelry & more.

Jo Ann Winn, executive director of the Sooner Chapter for CFF, expects the event to net over $45,000. The Foundation is one of the most efficient organizations of its kind, with nearly 90 percent of every dollar of revenue raised available for investment in research, care and education programs.
In 2008, the Foundation achieved a coveted 4-star rating for sound fiscal management from Charity Navigator, the largest charity evaluator in the United States.
Today, the predicted median age of survival for people with CF is 37 years –more than double what it was just 25 years ago.
There are 2 levels of tickets. Casino Tickets to the event are $50 and the High Roller Tickets which includes a No Limit Texas Hold Em’ Fundraiser Tournament are $100. Corporate sponsorships are available.
