Choral Showcase November 6, 2010

The traditional Family Weekend Choral Showcase will feature the UVa University Singers, UVa Chamber Singers, Virginia Women’s Chorus and Virginia Glee Club in concert on Saturday October 6th, 2010 at 7:00 pm in Old Cabell Hall. The concert’s lively and varied program will feature selections from all four ensembles’ 2010 repertoire.
The Virginia Women’s Chorus is conducted by KaeRenae Mitchell, the Virginia Glee Club is led by conductor Frank Albinder, and the University Singers – and their select subset, the UVa Chamber Singers – are directed by UVa faculty conductor Michael Slon. Tickets are $10 for the general public and $5 for students and are available at the UVa Arts Box Office in the Culbreth building, online at www.artsboxoffice.virginia.edu or by calling (434) 924-3376.
