Circle City Socialites Skate for a good cause! November 29, 2008

The Circle City Socialites(CCS), Indianapolis' newest roller derby league, will be hitting the rink for a good cause the Saturday after Thanksgiving!

Come strap on your skates and work off that turkey and pumpkin pie to benefit the Marion County Children's Guardian Home. Since 1898, the Guardian Home has offered shelter care for more than 150,000 dependent, neglected, battered, and abused children raging in age from infancy to 18. With the holidays coming up, the need is greater than ever.

Cash and wishlist donations will be taken at Wheels of Wonder, 175 Southern Plaza Drive, behind the IMAX theatre near US-31 and I-465 from 1-4 pm on Saturday, November 29th. Bring monetary donations or items from the Guardian Home's wishlist, which can be found at www.circlecitysocialites.org.

Admission is just $4.25 and skate rental is 25 cents.
