Close Encounters With Music: Thus Spake German Romanticism March 12, 2011

This concert features songs by Mahler, chamber music by Strauss and the world premiere of Jorge Martin's 'Four Noble Truths', inspired by Buddhist wisdom and following in the footsteps of late-19th century German Romantics -- a voyage toward enlightenment. Opera star Jennifer Rivera makes her Close Encounters debut.
