Singapore – June 16, 2010 – CMAI will be hosting an International Telecom and
Multimedia Summit & Expo in New Delhi, India on the key issues of “Beyond Customer
Satisfaction - Delivering profitability” with leaders of the telecom market in India, and
other part of the world at its inaugural Telecom and Multimedia Summit & Expo to take
place from September 29th – 30th , 2010 at Hotel Lalit, New Delhi. The Hon'ble Thiru A
Raja, Minister of Communications and IT, Government of India will inaugurate the event.
Guest of honours will include Shri PJ Thomas, Secretary Department of Telecom,
Government of India and Dr JS Sarma, Chairman TRAI.

Compared to the global norms, the Indian market provides a lot of potential with an
estimated teledensity of 49.50 for the end of January 2010 according to information
provided by the Ministry of Communications and IT. Wireless teledensity in India stood at
46.37 in January 2010, with the addition of 19.9 million new connections in the month.
The total number of wireless or mobile phone subscribers in India was at 545.05 million
by the end of January 2010 compared to 525.15 million by the end of December 2009,
