ComedySportz celebrates Mother's Day with free tickets for Mom May 7, 2010

ComedySportz comes to the rescue for all those sons and daughters who don’t know what to get Mom for Mother’s Day. And it won’t cost you a dime! During Mother’s Day weekend, ComedySportz will honor all mothers by hosting special matches with free admission for all Moms who bring one or more of their kids with them. It’s a great family outing because ComedySportz is fun for all ages. “Every match is rated G,” says Dianah Dulany, Producer, “so any age group will enjoy the show. We are the cleanest comedy show in town so there's never a worry about inappropriate content.”
During a match, two teams of professional improv comedians compete against each other in a series of games to see who can generate the most laughs. Since there is no script and all games are based on audience suggestions, no two shows are ever alike.
The shows will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 7, and Saturday, May 8, 2008, at the ComedySportz Arena, 901 Town & Country Blvd. (I-10 West and the Beltway). Mom gets in FREE if she brings the kidz. Regular admission is $16.00 and no minimum drink purchase is required. Group and student discounts are also available. Reservations are recommended. Founded in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1984, ComedySportz is a nationally celebrated improvisational comedy show that performs in 20 cities around the world. ComedySportz performs for all ages at all types of venues, including schools, corporations and religious functions. Regular shows are held every Friday and Saturday at 8pm, plus a Kidz Matinee at 4pm on the first Saturday of the month, at the ComedySportz Arena.
