Each year in March the sports world turns its attention to the 65 college basketball teams vying for a national title in the NCAA Division of Men's Basketball Championship. Now ComedySportz is getting into the game with their annual March Madness improv comedy tournament. The tournament divides the ComedySportz ensemble into eight teams that compete in a two week elimination competition. The winners are crowned the 2010 Houston Heros with bragging rights all year long.

"We are excited about bringing March Madness to our loyal ComedySportz fans again this year" says 2010 March Madness Commissioner Dianah Dulany. "It will be another tough competition, with the winning team not only garnering bragging rights for the year, but also the opportunity to play against other ComedySportz teams throughout the year"

Houston’s longest running improv comedy show, ComedySportz consistently provides quality, family-friendly entertainment. Featuring two teams of comedians who battle for laughs and points as they make up scenes, games and songs on the spot, every ComedySportz match is fast-paced, interactive and hilarious - funny enough for a bachelorette party, yet clean enough for your grandmother!

March Madness at ComedySportz begins on Friday, March 5, 2010 and runs every Friday in March with the final Championship match on Saturday, March 27, 2010. Kick off is 8:00 p.m. at the ComedySportz Arena, 901 Town & Country Blvd. (at I-10 West and the Beltway). Admission is $16.00. Group and student discounts are also available.
