Connect the Dots: Diabetes and Your Heart November 18, 2009

This comprehensive diabetes education program, held at the Hospital's Collins Pavilion, will focus on the critical link between diabetes, hypertension and cardiovascular disease. Medical professionals will explain how to manage one's diabetes. Attendees will also learn about the seriousness of this potentially debilitating disease and its link to many long-term chronic disabilities. In addition, attendees will learn how Medicare benefits make screening, management and treatment for these conditions more accessible.
