Immaculata University's Eugene Halus Jr., Ph.D., will hold his annual Constitution Day presentation in the Gabriele Library. His topic is 'What Direction Goes the Constitution? Chief Justice John Roberts and the Affordable Care Act.' Halus will lead a lively discussion of the Affordable Care Act, the Supreme Court and the national political scene as the nation prepares for the upcoming presidential election. With a doctorate in political science from the Catholic University of America, Halus serves as associate professor of politics at Immaculata University and is the author of a number of peer-reviewed articles in the areas of urban and ethnic politics, American Catholicism and politics, and constitutional law as it relates to zoning, property, housing, and lending laws. He is also a frequent political commentator for CBS news.
