Corn Harvest October 4, 2009

A horse-drawn corn wagon will be making its way through the corn field as staff and guests walk alongside and pick corn by hand. They will also be demonstrating the Rosenthal corn husker/shredder. This takes an entire stalk of corn and removes the ear while shredding the remaining stalk for silage. Other activities will take place around the property that are corn related.
