Our entire global financial system is in a state of shock. As the world's burgeoning population begins to seriously tax available resources, it is important to critically examine the underpinnings of our economic system. Despite its vital importance to the flow of goods and services, money remains cloaked in mystery. This January, Wonderroot would like to invite the community to engage in a dialogue about currency, exploring its evolution through history and the potential course for its future.

We will be offering workshops in papermaking, printmaking and engraving. Additionally we will host discussions focused on developing forms of local currency such as the Ithaca HOURS program.
