Darude - Label This World Tour June 5, 2009

With the groundbreaking release of “Sandstorm”, three artist albums, a stack of awards and multiple world tours under his belt, Darude is still one of dance music’s most influential stars. Nine years on Darude has produced a long awaited new artist album entitled “Label This!”. The album’s debut single, “I Ran (So Far Away)”, is the anthem re-make of a Flock of Seagulls’ massive 80’s hit with surprise vocals from American Idol’s Blake Lewis. The album is a fresh venture into the broader more innovative reaches of the modern sound of Darude. This upfront perspective, demonstrates his cross-genre talents as a producer with the album encompasses progressive and electro elements, whilst highlighting distinct influences of breaks and techno.
