Join DC for Democracy, DC elected officials and progressives for a BBQ Picnic this Sunday in Rock Creek Park!
On Sunday, June 26th, DC for Democracy will host its 2nd Annual Founders BBQ Picnic to celebrate the accomplishments over the last year, and gear up for action and elections this year. Join some of DC?s elected officials, Virginia 2005 candidates, and great activists and volunteers for an afternoon of good food, games and entertainment. The fun begins at 1:00 pm, food hits the table around 2:00 and there will be a short program around 3:00 where we?ll raffle off some great prizes.
Raffle prizes include: gift certificates to DC restaurants and spas, books by best-selling author David Brock, season passes to the Port City Playhouse in Alexandria, box seat tickets to a home game of your Washington Nationals, and more...
