Each day a White House staffer hands President Obama a purple folder containing 10 letters from concerned citizens which are read and discussed by the president and his staff. 'Dear Obama' examines 10 letters that the President might receive on a given day, and offers solutions to the stated problems. Based on actual letters sent to the President via the website www.lettersforobama.org, this sketch comedy show covers issues ranging from healthcare and the economy to truancy and discrimination in the military.
