The Futrelle Sisters are throwing a wedding and Frankie has almost made herself sick with the elaborate preparations. The Futrelle Sisters have never been strangers to gossip but, Frankie has held steadfastly to the hope that she can pull off one "final Futrelle occasion" with elegance and style. When sisters Twink and Honey Raye become involved, Frankie's hope of an elegant affair is dashed as she has to contend with a potluck supper, a sister clad in gold lame and hot flashes, and a runaway bride and groom.
