The ten one-hour films which make up Krzysztof Kieslowski's legendary miniseries The Decalogue are based on nothing less than the Ten Commandments.

We'll watch one episode each week, then discuss the moral, ethical and spiritual implications for our lives today.

Created for Polish Television in 1988-89, Dekalog has been called "one of the indisputably great accomplishments of modern filmmaking" (Kenneth Turan, L.A. Times).

Kieslowski (The Double Life of Veronique, Blue, White, Red) uses modern contexts to examine the fundamental and timeless issues of human existence.

The miniseries rates an unprecedented 9.3 out of 10 on imdb.com, alongside other classic miniseries like I, Claudius, Roots, Lonesome Dove and Ken Burns' The Civil War.
