(Hollywood, CA; February 25, 2010) – The Music Box in Hollywood is proud to announce its exciting new partnership with Insomniac Events, North America’s largest promoter of dance music events and nightlife culture. Pasquale Rotella and Donnie Estopinal of Insomniac Events will bring the new weekly DÉCOR, a fresh night of electronic dance music, to Los Angeles every weekend. Insomniac and The Box will collaborate to bring the electronic music scene to life every Saturday night starting March 20th, with world-renowned house DJ and producer Sander Kleinenberg. Doors open at 9:00p.m. and don’t close until the last one’s out. Tickets are $25.00 and available at http://www.wanttickets.com or http://www.groovetickets.com, or by calling The Music Box box office at 323-464-0808.

"I am honored to be working with such an iconic Hollywood venue,” says Insomniac owner Pasquale Rotella. “Together, we plan to awaken the nightlife and dance community in Los Angeles by providing some of the hottest and most influential DJs and live acts in the dance music industry.”

Founded in 1993, Insomniac has been the West Coast’s leading events company for over 10 years and has organized North America’s largest annual music festivals including Electric Daisy Carnival and Nocturnal Festival. Insomniac was recently nominated for “Best Music Event” and “Best Event Promoter” in the 25th Annual International Dance Music Awards.

“With The Music Box’s newly remodeled facelift reveal scheduled the very same weekend, joining forces with Insomniac could not have come at a better time,” says The Music Box’s Director of Special Events, Preston Gaspar. “I can’t think of a better way to start than Sander, one of the hottest electronic VDJ’s in the world, to compliment our brand new state-of-the-art sound and lighting system.”

Dutch DJ and producer Sander Kleinenberg has built his international reputation on an ability to create different atmospheres, for myriad crowds, at venues all over the world. His sets range from sparse and dark trance to uplifting and deep house, keeping him busy hopping around the globe to spin at high-profile clubs and producing tracks on numerous compilations. Kleinenberg is well known for his use of digital imagery video in concerts and for his "This Is" brand of club nights and albums. His 2000 single "My Lexicon" is often considered a progressive house standard.

Born and raised in The Hague, Holland, Kleinenberg's early influences were the American beats of Mantronix, remixer Shep Pettibone, and Jellybean Benitez coupled with the pop sounds of Depeche Mode. The head of his own Little Mountain label, and a producer of sublime original tracks that elude being easily date-stamped, Kleinenberg plans to tap into all the facets of his creativity for his next album, forthcoming at a date to be determined. "I am working on a definitive document," he hints. "I want to create a real landmark, both visually and musically, where I say, 'This has been my journey over the last twenty years… and this is where I am now.'"
