The Delaware County Symphony Celebrates Bach’s Birthday .
The Delaware County Symphony presents the fourth of its Chamber Concert Series for the 2011-2012 season on Sunday April 1, 2012 at 3 p.m. in the Meagher Theatre of the Thomas A. Bruder, Jr. Life Center at Neumann University, Aston Pa. To mark J.S. Bach’s 327 birthday concertmaster Ms. Anida Goga will join the chamber group to perform Bach’s beloved Suite No. 3 in D Major .Included in the program will be the entertaining A Musical Joke by Mozart; Suite in Olden Style by Vincent D’Indy and the Unanswered Question by Charles Ives Chamber program commentary will be provided by Jeremy Gill, Music Director. The theatre is handicapped accessible and there is ample free parking adjacent to the theatre. Tickets are $10, $8 for seniors/students and free for children 12 and under with paying adult admission. A special ticket price of $6 applies to groups of 10 or more. All college students are admitted free with presentation of proper college ID. The next full symphonic concert will be on Sunday May 6, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. entitled French Connection featuring a World Premiere of Impromptus and Arabesques by Benjamin C.S.
